Where the monochrome world gets its one colour, and the machines do the talking.
Home Server — Hermes
A Windows box in my room running the whole self-hosted stack. Oh-My-Pi (omp), a terminal coding agent, handles the daily builds. I can reach it from anywhere over the mesh, which is most of the point.
Claude as Co-architect
This whole site got built in conversation with Claude: the design language, the animation system, the architecture. I still make the calls on what looks right. It just gets there faster than I would alone.
Self-Hosted AI Stack
AI workloads running around the clock at home, wired up over a Tailscale mesh. I can hit it from my phone on mobile data and it answers like I'm sitting in front of it. Nobody else's servers involved.
AI × Learning Design
Using LLMs on real curriculum work: prototyping content, generating scenarios, drafting assessments. Some of it saves hours. Some of it needs throwing out. Figuring out which is which is the research.
“You learn more about these machines in one evening of breaking your own server than in a month of reading about them.”
